Building Quality: Strengthening Afterschool Professsional Development

Over the past three years, GAIC has focused its efforts on developing a statewide afterschool infrastructure that mobilizes and educates constituents and stakeholders to understand the contributions of afterschool to youth development and improve outcomes for Georgia’s youngest citizens. Increasingly, GAIC has focused on understanding the landscape of professional development and possible system improvements that would better serve out-of-school time youth workers and contribute more significantly to a sustainable afterschool workforce strategy in Georgia.
